How it all began
It started with a swipe…

Julia was temporarily working and living in Providence for “a few more months” post-grad, and Kevin was living and working north of the city.
Julia immediately loved that Kevin was spending his weekends in the outdoors kayaking (if only she knew*…) and uncharacteristically asked him out. Kevin agreed, suggesting two locations to grab a drink, only to be countered with an entirely different suggestion. While he nearly cancelled out of concerns that she would be difficult (if only he knew**…), curiosity got the best of him.
*kayaking was code for competitive fishing
**Kevin now admits Julia was right about the first date location (though she admits she can be difficult)
…and the rest is history…

Over the last six years we have had countless adventures and life changes: a year of long distance, new jobs, a cross-country move, lost loved ones, new family members (our two flower girls and ring bearer), and a puppy. Every day we continue to laugh, challenge, and learn from each other, and are grateful for a future filled with just that.
We can't wait to celebrate with all of you and have you be a part of our love story.
